LEE ABBEY

It is often said that everyone has a book in them.  I have no doubt that is true.  At the last count, I had six! But the art of writing is a long and often humbling experience.  Storytelling is not as easy as we may think.

 

I began writing a few years ago with the aim of fulfilling a life long dream.  I started one story.  Then stopped.  I started another, then had second thoughts.  But my mind never stopped working, and suddenly SPLIT came to me.  Plot, characters, twists. In barely the blink of an eye, I knew it inside out.  I began writing straight away, fitting it around the day job as best I could.  I joined a Creative Writing course to hone my skills.  I wrote, re-wrote, edited and edited again.  And now that hard work has paid off and I'm delighted to be able to share this exciting story with you.

 

Now I am more enthused than ever.  I've started work on my second book, with more thrills and spills than the first.  If you like SPLIT, you're going to love the next!
